About the team:
Be part of a multidisciplinary Territory wide team creating positive change and strengthening the link between wellbeing, inclusion and engagement to support our kids.
Work with allied health and special education professionals within a Multi-tiered System of Support framework to build the capability of educators to support students to maximise their educational outcomes.
About the role:
Psychologists perform psychological assessments with students for various reasons using psychometric testing, observation and interviews with parents and teachers. Consultation, comprehensive assessment, treatment planning and short-term individual interventions are provided to students learning, behaviour and personal/social competence concerns that may be having a direct impact on educational outcomes.
Various positions are available and will be based in the Darwin office, Palmerston office, Tennant Creek office and Alice Springs. Applicants for Tennant Creek positions may be able to request to be based in the Alice Springs office.
To be successful you will need a degree in psychology and registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Corporate-based conditions apply to this position. The applicant must hold or be able to obtain a Working with Children Notice Clearance and an NT driver’s licence. Visits to remote schools may necessitate travel by four-wheel drive vehicle on unsealed roads or light aircraft and include overnight stays in remote communities of up to four days. Four-wheel drive training will be provided by the NT Department of Education.
