Townsville Hospital and Health Service is seeking a passionate Social Worker to join the Burdekin Community Mental Health Service. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact in a regional setting while enjoying the lifestyle benefits of North Queensland.

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will:
- Provide comprehensive intake, assessment, care planning, intervention, and groupwork services.
- Deliver evidence-based mental health and ATODS interventions across the lifespan.
- Collaborate with other service providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in crisis management and intervention as required.
- Contribute to quality improvement and service development initiatives.

What You’ll Need
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work providing eligibility for full AASW membership
- Status as an AASW accredited Mental Health Social Worker would be highly regarded
- Current Class C driver’s licence
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role – Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis
- Pre-employment checks including criminal history clearance
- Experience in rural or remote mental health settings is highly regarded
