I am a Clinical Social Worker for 25 years who has worked across a wide variety of areas including the following: homelessness; disabilities; Drug & Alcohol counselling; public hospital (including ICU & end of life), with the last 13 years been in community mental health teams in country Victoria and remote Australia in several states. As part of several mental health roles, I also did regular rostered oncall work. All the mental health work involved significant crisis work, often doing outreach to peoples homes and to hospital emergency departments.
I have recently left public mental health and started my own private practice counselling in Ballarat part time. However, I would be available to work in various community roles for which my employment background is suited.
