About our Community Care Unit at Monash Health

Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 18,000 people across a range of specialities.

Our Community Care Unit (CCU) in East Bentleigh is a 20 bed psychosocial residential facility that provides a client focused recovery and rehabilitation program within a community setting.  We provide specialist input, assessment and short to medium term therapeutic interventions/case management to assist clients in their recovery journey with 24hr clinical support, psychiatric health car and psychosocial rehabilitation in a residential setting

The Role

We currently have an outstanding career opportunity for an experienced social worker to work at our Community Care Unit.  This role will allow you to utilise your specialist knowledge, skills and experience and work as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

We currently have a 0.6 eft position, 3 days per week

About You

You will be a motivated person with the ability to work with respect and collaboration in providing excellent high quality care & service for all clients and families/carers.

As an experienced Social Worker you will have demonstrated skills in providing evidence based service, high standard assessments, treatment and co-ordination of service to clients of the CCU.

You are committed to leading by example and delivering a client-focused service with ability to work autonomously along with a multidisciplinary team.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor of Social Work or Master of Social Work (Qualifying)
  • Current Australian Association of Social Work (AASW) membership or eligible for membership
  • Current Employee Working with Children Check
  • Relevant working rights/visa for Australia
