Job Description

Imagine a Mental Health Social Worker role where you help people with an immediate need for support, where no two days are the same, and you will work within a supportive team environment. A role where your full breadth of skills are called on to work with a diverse range of peoples and presentations to reach outcomes that enhance wellbeing and quality of life.

What is EAP?

EAP (Employee Assistance Program) is a confidential service that organisations provide to their employees and family members to reduce mental health and people related risk.

As an EAP Clinician, you will work from your home / private office and can be based anywhere in Australia. Whether your preference is full time or part-time, you will provide solution-focused, brief therapy services that help individuals, couples and teams adjust to changes or cope with various life challenges.

Working as an EAP Clinician, you will:

  • Deliver services digitally (including Live Chat) or phone
  • Provide short-term solution-focused intervention support
  • Participate in fortnightly peer supervision

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Be a Mental Health Accredited Social Worker
  • Hold full practicing membership with the AASW
  • Have a minimum 2 years’ experience of relevant counselling interventions across a broad range of presentations
  • Show a demonstrated commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and personal and professional development
  • Have a current Working with Children Check / Working Vulnerable People clearance relevant to your State
