International Qualifications and Assessments Officer
The Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) is the professional representative body of social workers in Australia, with more than 14,000 members. AASW sets the benchmarks for professional education and practice in social work and have a strong voice on matters of social justice, human rights and issues that impact upon the quality of life of all Australians.
A rewarding opportunity exists for an International Qualifications Assessment (IQA) Officer at the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) within our Ethics and Standards Program.
The IQA Officer is responsible for managing the AASW’s program for the membership eligibility assessments of people with overseas social work qualifications, including those social workers who intend to migrate to Australia.
The successful applicant will have a sound understanding of social work education and overseas social work qualifications, including the Australian Social Work Education and Accreditation Standards.
