Remuneration: AHP2 ($94,997 - $110,052) / AHP1 ($73,710 - $89,981) / PO2 ($94,769 - $109,787) / PO1 ($73,533 - $89,764) plus 12% superannuation
Role Details:
Our Mount Barker team is seeking an Allied Health Professional (AHP) or Professional Officer (PO) to join the team as a Senior Social Worker, Senior Case Manager, Social Worker or Case Manager. Your ability to exercise precise judgement when emotionally understanding a child’s needs is pivotal in this hands-on role. Promoting a positive environment for children and young people will further their independence and stability in society. Your contributions will shape the future prosperity of vulnerable youth to lead a safe and secure lifestyle.
This is a single vacancy offered under a dual classification, meaning it may be filled by either an experienced, qualified Social Worker (AHP2 / AHP1) or Professional Officer (PO2 / PO1) depending on the qualification and suitability of the successful applicant.

Essential Qualifications:
Persons of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, who have the appropriate background and skills but do not have the essential qualification, may apply for and be engaged/assigned to the role of Social Worker and will be entitled to apply for any Allied Health Professional roles requiring a qualification in Social Work within the Department for Child Protection (DCP).

+ 4% Child Protection Allowance
+ Regional financial incentive
+ Professional Development Allowance
+ Qualification Allowance may apply if you hold an additional qualification relevant to the role.
PO2: $94,769 – $109.787 p.a. + 12% super
PO1: $73,533 – $89,764 p.a. + 12% super
+ Additional Child Protection Allowance.
AHP2 positions are also entitled to claim reimbursement of eligible professional development expenses through the Professional Development Allowance.
