Mental Health Team Leader (Psychologist Social Worker or Occupational Therapist)
Location: We have opportunities in Spring Creek (Gatton West of Ipswich)
Flexible Full Time, Permanent and temporary opportunities are available
Full time is 36 hours 15 minutes per week (7 hours 15 minutes per day), with flexible options between operating hours of Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm each day.
Salary up to $143125p.a. + 12.75% superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading
Mental Health Team Leader.
Psychologists, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists are invited to apply to lead multidisciplinary mental health services within Queensland Corrective Services (QCS).
As a Mental Health Team Leader, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision and operational management within a multidisciplinary team delivering mental health services in a correctional environment.
Clinical Responsibilities:
These positions are based at Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre (LVCC) and Southern Queensland Correctional Centre (SQCC), both located at Spring Creek in the Lockyer Valley region.
LVCC is Queensland's newest and largest correctional facility, opened in September 2025. LVCC is a modern, fit-for-purpose facility and has a strong focus on rehabilitation, emphasizing mental health services, substance abuse treatment, education and vocational training.
SQCC is a high security women's facility and Clinicians work within a multidisciplinary therapeutic team conducting assessments and providing intervention to support positive rehabilitation outcomes. Women who enter the criminal justice system often come from lives characterised by sexual, emotional and physical abuse, domestic and family violence, substance addiction and mental health problems.
