Remuneration: $76,364.00 – $117,755.00per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

What you’ll be doing:
The clinician will work within a multidisciplinary community mental health team in the provision of assessment, evidence-based treatment and case management services.
Consultation, liaison and capacity building work with other local services for the older person is an important part of the role. 
You will work in partnership with consumers, carers, families and other service providers in order to provide high quality discipline specific and mental health assessment and consultation services within a recovery-oriented framework. 
The position involves the provision of mental health crisis intervention services for consumers of all ages.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Relevant (Australian recognised) Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for membership to the relevant Australian peak body (AASW, APS, AHPRA, PACFA).
  • Experience working with older persons with psychological/mental illness and/or behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia. 
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with a range of service providers and support effective clinical networks.
