Location: We have opportunities in Townsville, Lotus Glen (Mareeba), Capricornia (Rockhampton), Southern Queensland (Spring Creek) and Brisbane (Wacol) Correctional Centres
Flexible Full Time and Part Time, Permanent and Temporary opportunities are available
Full time is 36 hours 15 minutes per week (7 hours 15 minutes per day), with flexible options between operating hours of Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm each day.
Salary up to $127,941 p.a. + 12.75% superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading
There has never been a more exciting time to work with Queensland Corrective Services! We’re currently undergoing a period of change in how we deliver mental health services within our centres, and within that we’re expanding our psychology workforce to include social workers and occupational therapists.
Our Senior Mental Health Clinician role is a newly created, senior role designed to provide high-level clinical services within a multidisciplinary team.
You’ll work with a collaborative, professional team providing mental health services within a dynamic operating environment. Your clinical expertise will manage complex cases and provide clinical supervision and mentorship to the team alongside the Mental Health Team Leaders, to help ensure the smooth and efficient provision of these crucial services within the Centre.
In your role as a Senior Mental Health Clinician, no two days will be the same. Your work will include:
