JCPRP Health Clinician
The Health Clinician provides trauma-informed clinical services within a multi-agency system responding to JCPRP investigations. This includes working alongside NSW Police and the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) and representing NSW Health in the interagency team.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the health response for JCPRP referrals within required timeframes.
Provide crisis counselling and support to non-offending parents/carers during investigative interviews.
Facilitate referrals for medical/forensic examinations and psychosocial support.
Engage with Aboriginal communities and ensure culturally respectful practices.
Maintain accurate health records and deliver in-service training to internal and external key stakeholders.
Provide clinical supervision to junior clinicians and lead quality improvement initiatives
Make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

Remuneration: $80,452.00- $120,680.00 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Relevant Tertiary qualification (Social Work, Psychology) with AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership to the relevant Australian peak body (AASW, APS).
Experience in the provision of counselling and/ or experience within NSW Health/ Albury-Wodonga Health or other relevant Health Service.
Skills, experience and knowledge of the provision of crisis, therapeutic and other clinical responses to victims of sexual assault and physical abuse and neglect of children.
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both verbally and written, with an ability to engage children and young people.
Ability and willingness to participate in Violence, Abuse and Neglect coverage where necessary
