As a Senior Social Worker, you will apply advanced social work skills and knowledge of mental health to conduct a range of interventions including bio-psycho-social mental health assessments and screenings, provision of individual, family or group interventions, case management and client advocacy. All interventions are developed in consultation with the multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with the young person and their families and liaise with community agencies to support the young person’s mental health and wellbeing.
You will be an integral part of our supportive and collaborative team and play a key role in helping our patients establish practical and attainable goals, promoting the highest level of function in various aspects of their lives. Your role will also include clinical supervision of other social workers and students as required.
Please note a tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers is a requirement for this role.
