Job Description

Position Title: Headspace Liaison and Coordinator

Location: Roma QLD 4455 (Australia)

Remuneration: $128,169 - $137,918 p.a.

Your opportunity

Based in South West Qld, you will be practicing in a rural/remote setting and helping to close the gap in health outcomes for First Nations peoples. As the Headspace Liaison and Coordinator you will work in relationship with headspace and MHAOD staff to develop and evolve ways of working together for the benefit of the people who may benefit from the service offerings from both organisations. Work alongside headspace to develop and establish care pathways that create timely access to multidisciplinary youth mental health treatment and care for adolescents and young people aged 12-25 years when needed and remain consistent with the headspace model and a ‘no wrong door' policy.  Co-create seamless and streamlined transition of care between headspace and state funded MHAOD services (strengthen clinical pathways).

The very nature of what we do and who we are is the real opportunity. Providing health care in the bush is full of challenges, however, it remains the most rewarding of human experiences.
