Multiple vacancies available, looking for suitably qualified Social Worker and
Occupational Therapist to fill the roles.
The Mental Health Team Leader is a key leadership position working alongside the Mental Health Services Manager as part of the leadership group, accountable for the
provision of evidence-based services, professional discipline and operational
leadership.
The Mental Health Team Leader manages the operational delivery of clinical
services for a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals providing
assessment, crisis intervention and short-term treatment to individuals with a mental
illness in the Correctional centre.
QCS is integrating Occupational therapists and Social Workers into the workforce
delivering mental health services. These team leader roles will support the
development of professional discipline competencies, scope of practice and other
discipline specific needs.
Who we're looking for
This role calls for a responsive and highly motivated individual with advanced clinical
skills within mental health and has considerable demonstrated senior clinical
experience including the provision of clinical supervision.
To be successful, you will possess exceptional leadership skills, advanced clinical
competency and be highly motivated to engage and collaborate with a broad range
of stakeholders.
Candidates must apply well-developed clinical knowledge and skills to contribute to
the strategic direction of the service and to provide authoritative counsel to
stakeholders.
