Compass Coordinator (Vocational Education & Cross Campus)
Are you an experienced social worker or youth worker with a passion for working with university and vocational education students? Join us at our Carlton/City campus and be part of an energetic and driven team of staff, elected student representatives and volunteers who are making a real difference for students.
About the Role
The RUSU Compass Service is designed to provide welfare information and referrals to RMIT students. The service includes Compass Drop-In Centres on each campus where students can seek guidance without booking an appointment. The Compass service and programs are well established with two existing staff members. This position is a new and exciting role that has vocational education students and food security as areas of focus.
Your skills in social work, youth work, volunteer supervision, advocacy and support will be utilised to assist students in a complex and challenging higher education environment. In this role you will:
