About the role
Community Forensic Outreach Service (CFOS) is a team within the Community Forensic Mental Health Service which provides high level clinical and risk assessment and recommendations for the management of mental health consumers who have committed, are alleged to have committed or are at risk of committing an offence.
As a member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide high level input into the areas of forensic and mental health assessment, risk assessment, intervention, training and education, supervision and research.
What’s on offer?
Permanent full-time or part-time position, hours negotiable.
Remuneration package of up to $ 164,696 p.a., comprising base salary range of $128,169 to $137,918 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7) OR $132,562 to $143,924 p.a. (HP4) (+ applicable allowances/benefits), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

Requirements
· The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Social Work as well as eligibility for full membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
· Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People Act 2000 (QLD) requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check’ from the Commission for Children and Young People prior to appointment to this position.
