About our role- We care about others

We are looking for a Provisional Psychologist to join our exciting new CatholicCare Assessment Services (CAS) program. 

This new program will provide adults and children with access to evidence-based diagnostic psychological assessments. The Provisional Psychologist will be part of the team completing these assessments while meeting requirements for their Psychology Board of Australia Internship.  There will be opportunities to complete internship hours in other CatholicCare programs for those interested in getting a variety of experience during their internship year and exploring future career opportunities with CatholicCare.

This will be a temporary full-time position.

Our requirements to provide care 

  • Eligibility for provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulations Agency (AHPRA)
  • Eligibility for 5+1 internship program (requires relevant undergraduate and postgraduate university level qualifications)
  • High integrity and reliability 
  • Commitment to learning delivery of assessment tools and attention to detail
  • Experience or interest in developing and delivering therapeutic groups
  • Flexibility in program placements and open to involvement in different agency programs
  • A NSW drivers' licence and a reliable vehicle
  • Current Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
