Senior Clinician – Child and Youth Mental Health Services

 An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Registered Nurse, Registered Psychiatric Nurse,  Social Worker, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist to join the Latrobe Valley Mental Health team at Latrobe Regional Hospital on a Part Time/Full Time Ongoing basis (0.8 or 1.0) EFT Available.

Reporting to the Manager – Child and Youth Mental Health team, the successful applicant will play an important role in the delivery and clinical leadership of mental health services to child and youth clients of the Latrobe Valley area. 

We are looking for Mental Health Clinicians with the following:

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary service delivery framework
  • Leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • Clinical knowledge, skills and experience
  • A commitment to ongoing professional training and development, and
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Mental Health Act 2014, the National Standards for Mental Health Services 1996, the National Standards for the Mental Health Workforce 2002 and the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards including NSQHS standards.
