About the Role
We currently have a position within our Community Health service for a Counsellor who can provide comprehensive counselling services. This part time position is primarily located at our Berwick site however movement across sites may be required into the future.
You have experience in working therapeutically with those communities/individuals with the poorest health outcomes, including newly arrived asylum seekers and refugees. A commitment to multidisciplinary team work and an understanding of the Social Model of Health is mandatory as is an appreciation of the complex health needs of this client group.
If you can also demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and possess strong organisational and communication skills, this role could be for you.
