HealthWISE Mental Health offers non-crisis mental health services. Our services are available across NSW New England North West and Darling Downs West Moreton Queensland, with our footprint currently expanding.

Due to business growth, HealthWISE is recruiting suitable candidates throughout our NSW service region,  based in one of our offices - Armidale, Gunnedah, Inverell, Moree, Narrabri and Tamworth. We are looking for Rural Mental Health Clinicians with a person-centred approach who enjoy working autonomously, but who will also contribute readily to our team.  

Rural Mental Health Clinicians – various positions and locations, full-time and part-time

This position requires experience and a genuine interest in rural primary mental health care and will provide services across rural communities including residential aged care facilities. Services will be provided in a hub and spoke model from offices located in Armidale, Glen Innes, Inverell, Moree, Narrabri, Tamworth and Gunnedah.

Senior Mental Health Clinician – Primary Mental Health Access and Referral Service. Part-time

The Senior Mental Health Clinician will support the development and implementation of a regional primary mental health access & referral program in the New England North West. This role will facilitate clinical assessment and triage of mental health referrals and ensure an integrated and inclusive approach which supports the provision of appropriate levels of care. 
We are inviting applications from experienced and suitably qualified applicants with current AHPRA Full Registration or AASW membership. 

Mental Health Worker – Primary Mental Health Access and Referral Service. Part-time
The Mental Health Worker will be responsible for receiving and processing primary mental health referrals and allocating to appropriate providers. This will also include ensuring referred clients are linked into appropriate services if not eligible to access the commissioned services. Given that this is a newly established service, the role will also actively participate in activities that inform triage processes, resources and workflows.
We are inviting applications from experienced and suitably qualified applicants with Tertiary level qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Mental Health Nursing or Diploma in Mental Health or Certificate IV in Mental Health.
