CREATING YOUR SOCIAL WORK CAREER

Here at the AASW Horizon Career Centre we want to encourage you to develop clarity around your purpose in social work.  Amanda Vos and Lyndal Greenslade developed Creating YOUR Social Work Career to help you articulate your values and needs and proactively create the career you want. This four-phase process includes reflecting on why you are a Social Worker, gaining insight into your particular strengths, identifying where in social work your purpose best fits, and identifying what you need to stay nourished throughout your career.

We use Creating YOUR Social Work Career as a framework for all of our services, particularly Career Counselling, Career Coaching, career presentations and publications.
